The strategic plan serves as the
long-range guide that provides the structure for your
program. It determines
organization and staffing, program components and
activities. The strongest plans evolve from a process
that includes all the main stakeholders—staff,
boards and administrators—whose support is
critical to program success.
Strategic plans assistance may be for:
- Entire program
- Program component (e.g., annual giving, stewardship,
volunteer structure)
- Issues (e.g., leadership transition)
Deliverables
- Assistance in preparing for planning meetings.
- Facilitation at meetings.
- Written strategic plan or, if desired, outline for internal development.
- Assistance with developing next steps if desired.
